Sunita Tools Signs Strategic MoU with US Firm to Pursue Defence Contracts

Sunita Tools Limited has announced a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a USA-based company to support bidding and execution of upcoming defence tenders related to various calibre shells, particularly 155 M107 artillery shells.

The partnership will help Sunita Tools handle documentation, regulatory approvals, liaison with government authorities, logistics coordination, and other operational formalities in the United States for potential defence orders. In return, the US partner will receive a percentage-based commercial share from finalized contracts.

The collaboration is aimed at strengthening Sunita Tools’ presence in the North American defence market, enabling smoother execution of defence contracts and improving access to international opportunities. The company stated that the partnership aligns with its long-term strategy to expand its defence and aerospace business globally through local partnerships and market expertise.

Sunita Tools has more than 36 years of experience in engineering and mould base manufacturing, producing precision components used across sectors such as automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, aerospace and defence.

Shares of Sunita Tools Ltd (BSE: 544001) were trading at ₹975.25, up 5% during the session. The stock opened at ₹949.90, touched an intraday high of ₹975.25, and a low of ₹939.00, with the company’s market capitalization around ₹612 crore.
