KPI Green Energy Commissions Additional Solar Capacity in Gujarat Project

KPI Green Energy Limited has commissioned an additional 24.2 MW AC / 35.01 MW DC capacity in its 250 MW AC / 350 MW DC grid-connected Solar IPP project awarded by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).

Following the latest commissioning, the total operational capacity under the project has increased to 48.4 MW AC / 69.41 MW DC, marking steady progress in the phased execution of the large solar project. The project was awarded through a competitive bidding process and forms part of India’s expanding renewable energy infrastructure.

The company stated that the project remains on track with an overall completion timeline of October 2026, and the additional capacity reflects its continued focus on executing renewable energy projects while supporting India’s clean energy transition.

Shares of KPI Green Energy (NSE: KPIGREEN) were trading at ₹346.85, up 2.26% during the session. The stock opened at ₹348.00, touched an intraday high of ₹349.80, and a low of ₹339.45. The company currently has a market capitalization of around ₹7,200 crore.
