ACME Solar Signs 450 MW Peak Power PPAs with SJVN, Strengthens Renewable Energy Portfolio

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has signed two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with SJVN for a total capacity of 450 MW / 1,800 MWh under an assured peak power project. The agreements were signed through its subsidiary ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited for a 25-year period, strengthening the company’s position in India’s renewable energy sector.

The project will be connected to Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) substations and will utilize ACME Solar’s existing connectivity in high solar irradiation zones in Rajasthan. Under the agreements, the company will supply four hours of assured peak power during non-solar hours, maintaining about 90% availability on both monthly and annual basis.

The project was awarded through Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) guidelines. An e-reverse auction for the tender was held in October 2025, while the company received the Letter of Award in November 2025.

With this agreement, ACME Solar has signed 1,690 MW of PPAs during the current financial year, taking its total PPA signed capacity to 6,270 MW. The company currently has a diversified renewable portfolio of 8,071 MW across solar, wind, hybrid and storage solutions, reflecting its strong presence in India’s clean energy sector.

Shares of ACME Solar Holdings Limited (NSE: ACMESOLAR) were trading at ₹226, down ₹4 or 1.78% on March 12. The stock touched a day’s high of ₹230 and a low of ₹225, compared to the previous close of ₹230. The company has a market capitalisation of about ₹13,680 crore, while its 52-week high stands at ₹324 and the 52-week low at ₹173.
